Waivers

Prebisch Law Firm, PLLC is your source for information on waivers. Non-U.S. citizens who want to apply for an immigration benefit, such as a green card, a visa, or a change of status, must prove they are admissible to the United States. If a person is inadmissible, it is possible they may still be able to obtain the immigration benefit they are seeking if they are eligible for a waiver to overcome their ground of inadmissibility. Waivers are applications asking the U.S. government to forgive or pardon a foreign national for certain grounds of inadmissibility. Not all grounds of inadmissibility can be waived and those that can have its own requirements.
